Two victims of helicopter crash found dead

Bodies of two victims of a helicopter crash  near the estuary river in Linga, Sri Aman yesterday  morning has been found by the search and rescue team this morning.
The first victim, Siti Khuzaimah Anwar, 27, from Samariang was found at about 11 am today by a local fisherman floating in the river off Maludam.
The search and rescue teams found the body another victim Peter Ato Mayau at a river near Kampung Tebelu, Sebuyau two hours latere.
Sarawak Deputy Commissioner of Police Datuk Law Hong Soon who confirmed the discovery at about 2 pm today, said the victims was also found in their full dress, but without life jackets on their body.
He said the body of Peter Ato who is an engineer with Sebiro Holdings and also vice chairman of the Sarawak PKR was taken to Simunjan District Hospital for autopsy.
Low said the victim completely dressed, but without life jackets.

The victims were on their way to inspect a school project in Nanga Merit in Kapit when a helicopter of Eurocopter EC 120 belonging to a local corporate figure crashed near the estuary river in Linga, Sri Aman yesterday morning.
The victims are identified as Peter Ato, Henry Loh, Siti Khuzaimah Anwar and the pilot Rico Singer, who is a foreigner.
The pilot was rescued by a group of fishermen after four hours of swimming at the river mouth and he was brought to Kampung Tebelu, Sebuyau.
Ato, who is an aspiring candidate for the forthcoming general election is from Kampung Rudan in Padawan. He also contested in the last State election under PKR symbol against Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn but lost.
The ill fated helicopter departed from Kuching International Airport (KIA) ​​at 8:57 am yesterday.
